About CSRT

Since 1978, Cooper Spur Race Team has provided our community with a program designed to develop youth ski racing. CSRT offers an ideal program for children of all ages who want to become expert, all-mountain, and life long skiers, while having fun and learning to compete.

CSRT’s coaching staff is dedicated to helping racers at all levels achieve their ski racing goals. However, excellence in skiing and competition is only part of our mission. Our programs help youth develop important life skills and values such as cooperation, teamwork, positive attitude, honesty, and dedication. We also pride ourselves in producing some of the top racers in the Pacific Northwest.

CSRT is not owned or operated by Cooper Spur Ski Area. We are an independent entity who conducts its programs at the resort and is supported by the ski area with grooming services, storage facilities, and trail closures for racing. CSRT is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) volunteer organization comprised of racers, their parents, coaches, and alumni. Program fees pay for approximately 60% of our expenditures. The remainder of our budget depends entirely upon fund raising activities, donations and local business sponsorships.

CSRT has an average of 85 participants per season. CSRT hosts 3 major ski events each year at Cooper Spur Ski Area or Mt Hood Meadows, drawing over 250 competitors and their families from all over the Pacific Northwest region. These events are the annual Cooper Camp in December, the Diamond Dual SL Race and the Jack Baldwin SL race. CSRT also does 3 fundraisers annually including the Ski a thon, holiday wreath sales, and the Caskino Night silent auction event.

SPONSORSHIP

Business and corporate sponsors are critical in helping Cooper Spur Race Team achieve its mission to create athletes that are competitive at all ski racing levels. The generosity of our sponsors keeps program fees at accessible levels for all athletes in our community. Fees paid by participants only partially cover the costs of the coaching staff. Additional funds are needed and are essential to every aspect of our program from racing and timing equipment to providing athletic scholarships. Your sponsorship of CSRT would provide you with an
exceptional access to a large target market of active outdoor oriented consumers. Most importantly, as a sponsor of CSRT you make it possible for our youth to enjoy a fun and healthy activity at affordable prices. All donations are tax deductible.

PLATINUM SPONSOR
$5,000 or more per year (3 yr commitment)

As a platinum sponsor your business will receive:
Business logo and name on all race entry forms and information packets.
Large business logo and name on all race event t-shirts.
Business logo and name prominently displayed on banners at CSRT hosted races.
Business logo and name will prominently appear as a link on our website.
Acknowledgment of your support in the local newspaper.

GOLD SPONSOR
$3000 or more per year

As a Gold sponsor, your business will receive:
Business logo and name on all race entry forms and information packets for CSRT hosted races.
Business logo and name on all race event t-shirts.
Business logo and name on banners, to be displayed on race fencing during CSRT hosted races.
Acknowledgment of your support in the local newspaper.
Business logo and link will appear on CSRT webpage.

SILVER SPONSOR
$1000 or more per year

As a Silver sponsor, your business will receive:
Business logo and name on race entry forms and information packets for CSRT hosted races.
Small business logo and name on all race event t-shirts.
Business logo and link on CSRT website
Business logo on banners displayed at all CSRT hosted races.

BRONZE SPONSOR
$500 or more per year

As a Bronze sponsor, your corporation will receive:
Business logo and name on race entry forms and information packets for CSRT hosted races.

“FRIENDS OF CSRT”

Our “friends of CSRT” sponsorship is for private individuals interested in helping with the ongoing expenses of running our program by way of a monetary donation. In recognition of your donation your name will appear on our web page.

PRODUCT SPONSOR

If you would prefer to purchase or provide product such as gates, bibs, timing equipment, coach radios, ski equipment, backpacks, silent auction items, etc. we would be very happy to work with you. The cost of the product would be used to ascertain your company’s sponsorship level and the appropriate recognition.
