CSRT's Max Tobler qualifies for the 2010 Western Region J3 Junior Olympics!
Max is ranked 7th overall in the PNSA division, earning him a spot on the PNSA divisional J3 JO Team. The J3's had 2 3-day Qualifiying GS & SL races in January at Mt Spokane and Super G and SL races in February at Mt Hood Meadows. Max won the first GS race and is ranked 2nd in the division in GS. Allie Spadaro also posted good results and is ranked 19th overall in the division and is the 1st alternate for the women's Team. The quota for the PNSA Team is 18 girls and 24 boys. The J3 Junior Olympics will be held at Mt Bachelor on March 16-21st.

Congratulations Hannah West, winning her 3rd straight 4 Way race Ski Meister overall trophy!

Cooper Spur Race Team competed in the Oregon 4-Way Race on February 5th, 6th and 7th. The 4-Way includes Classic Cross Country and Jumping on Friday, Giant Slalom on Saturday, and SL on Sunday. The championship was open to J5 competitors (ages 9 & 10) and J4 competitors (ages 11 & 12). Mt Hood Race Team and Mt. Hood Education Foundation sponsored the 42nd annual event at Ski Bowl Ski area that included nearly 146 PNSA competitors.

Cooper Spur's Hannah West took the 1st place-overall SkiMeister Award leading her J4 (ages 11/12) group in best all-around performance in all 4-events. Although the SkiMeister only places a 1st place award for the overall SkiMeister, Cooper Spur also had many athletes with great results. In addition to Hannah, Cooper Spur's J4 girl, Beth Mixon received 10th overall. The J4 Boys had Montana Kurahara, placing 3rd overall, Austin Keillor, 5th overall, Zachary Mikkelson, 6th overall, and Kiefer Kreps, 12th overall. The Cooper Spur's J5 Boys (ages 9/10) Trevor Lariza placed 6th overall, Carter Rigert 9th overall, and JJ Mears received 11th place overall.
